I love to go to the beach.  The beach that I normally go to is on Hilton Head Island.  The only thing is it takes a while to get there. But I think it is worth it.

I love the beach because it is so fun!  Also because I feel so relaxed when I am there.  You can also get a nice tan it is one of the great things about the beach.  It is always warm there in the summer and in the winter it doesn’t get that cold.

I love the beach because of all the  fun activities you can do.  One of my favorite things to do are go body surfing.  It is so fun.  Another thing that I love to is building sand castles.   Last summer when I went my brother and I built a huge sand castle. It was big enough I could sit on the top of it.

That is why I love the beach.  The only bad thing about the Beach is sand.  It gets in everything. Also when the tide destroys your sand castle. But it is still worth it.  What do you like to do for fun?

I am going to tell you some fun things me and my family do over Christmas break.  Christmas break is my favorite time in the winter.  My favorite thing over Christmas break is getting to see family, friends and presents.

One thing my family always does is have a Christmas dinner at my grandma’s house.  My favorite food that she makes is her chicken and noodles.   Also if there is snow on the ground we go sledding. It is so fun it is one of my favorite things.  At my babysitters she always makes sugar cookies.  Then the kids decorate them.

So those are some things I like to do with my friends and family over the Christmas break.  We do a lot of other things but I just put in some of my favorite things.  What are your favorite things to do over the Christmas break

Today I am going to tell you about the book that I have been reading and some fun stuff about it.  The book that I have been reading is Seekers Island of Shadows it is written by Erin Hunter.  The book is about these four bears Ujurak, Kallik, Toklo and Lusa and how the are on this big journey to save the wild. Ujurak is a shape shiftier so he can change into any other animal including humans.

So in the book the four bears are climbing this mountain because at the top there is a oil rig that needs to be destroyed. The oil rig needs to be destroyed because it is putting oil into the water and poising the seals and the polar bears that eat the seals.   When they get to the top they don’t know what to do.   How can four bear cubs destroy a building, but then they came up with an idea a avalanche would destroy it.  So Ujurak hurry’s  and changes into a caribou then found a heard of caribou. Once he found a heard he told Kallik, Toklo and Lusa where the heard was so they could scare them away and Ujurak could lead them to factory.

There are so many exciting things in the book. But not all of them I could put in this blog post. Because if I did it would of ruin the book so if you want to figure out what happens next you will have to find out for yourself.   But I would read the first 6 first so you know what else is going on in the book.

Hard work to me is no madder what you never give up. One time I knew I had to keep pushing and no madder what and finish. After I did that I felt amazing because I knew that I just won that battle. But sometimes I don’t work my hardest and most the time I don’t because I am lazy , I do not wont to do it of even scared because I am not up for the challenge. Don’t be scared always want to face the challenge and always work your hardest.

My school year has been good for the most part.  I  am going to tell you about some things that happened this year. That has help me get through the year so far.

The first thing that happened was In first period.   We were working on are pond projects and my teacher told me to go write something on the board.  She told me to write the word length so I went up there and I forgot how to spell it.  Lucky for me she was not in the room so I asked the class I said this is sad but how do you spell the word length.  Everybody started laughing eventually  they did tell me how to spell it.

The second thing that happened was at recess  I was playing kickball like usual.  The other team had just got three outs and I forget who it was but they kicked the ball straight up in the air.  I caught it but the second hand was my face and it hurt really bad.  I tried to play it cool and I think I did a pretty good job at it.

The third thing that happened was in science we had to measure the length of this little plastic pond.  I was the one who got to go in the pond to hold the tape measure.  After we finished I was getting out and I fell but I do not think that anyone saw it so that was good.

Those are probably the biggest and clumsiest things I have done this year.  I think that this school year is going to be pretty good.  As long as I do not get hurt any more which probably is not going to happen thanks for reading .

    I’ve been reading the book Seekers The Last Wilderness by Erin Hunter. It is apart of the seekers series it is the fourth book in the series . It is about four bears Kallik ,Lusa ,Toklo and Ujurak that are going on a journey to save the wild . I am going to tell you about all the problems in my book.

The first problem in the book that I  have been reading is that the youngest bear Ujurak is drinking water from a stream and he is not paying attention and swallows a fishing hook. Then the other bears run  over to help but then  Ujurak collapsed when Kallik found out what it was she realized that they can’t pull it out without ripping his throat apart.

The next problem in the book that I am reading is that Toklo is hunting caribou and he was hiding in the bushes . Lusa and Kallik were watching him from above on top of some rocks then Lusa noticed a little boy from the village up the valley  wandering around . Lusa Kallik said look Toklo is getting ready to pounce .But what they did not know was that the little boy was heading straight in front of Toklo. Will Toklo pounce on the little boy or will Lusa and Kallik be able to stop him .

The last problem that I am going to tell you about is about all of them .They wandered their way into a little town after a while they realized they were lost and hungry . Then a man walked out of the house and saw all four of them but he ran back in his house and came out with a gun . Bullets were flying every where they were all running and before they knew it the whole town was chasing them .                                                                                                                                     That is all I am going to tell you if you want to know more you will have to read the book .  But I would recommend reading the first three books so you understand . This is my sixth grade year This school year I want to make this best year ever . Here are some of the things I am going to do to make this the best year ever.

I am going to get my planner signed every day this year .  I am always going to say please and thank you to the lunch ladies and say good morning and afternoon to the bus drivers . I am also going to turn in my homework assignments on time .

I am going to try my hardest to get on the honor roll this year.If the school is still doing student of the month I want to get it one month this year. Also be respectful responsible and ready.

The ways I plan on doing all this stuff is paying attention in class and not talk in class when I am not supposed to  .  Also do my homework right when I get home.
